Yesterday we finally opened our ecosystem and we had a hunt because we were searching for our salamander. The only thing that died in our ecosystem was our fish because it didnt have enough food to supply on and we didnt have any plants left. My guess about the plants is that they died because they either didnt get enough oxygen or sunlight.

On day 16 through 20 we did quite a few things. On day 16 we noticed that our plants were getting worse and dying really quick and we figured out why. On one side of our ecosystem the plants were dying because they didnt get any sunlight so on day 17 we took a lamp and put in position. We thought it would help but it didnt it just made problems worse because the plants actually just starting melting to the side of our ecosystem and day 16 through 20

On day 15 we did a couple things we scoped around our ecosystem to see if we could see what was still alive and what was dead. We also measured our Co2 and oxygen again.the only thing that we noticed that was dead was our fish, and we still cant find our salamander.

On day 14 we started to observe our ecosystem and we measured our Co2 and oxygen today and we have learned that half our plants are starting to die.

Today we are finally shutting our biomes and we will keep them shut for about 3 weeks. We have biotic as well as abiotic factors in our ecosystem. Our biotic factors will be a salamander, a bunch of pill bugs and about 30 crickets , a wolf spider tomato plant and about 10 beans. Abiotic factors in our ecosystem would be tree limbs, dirt, carbon dioxide, oxygen, water.

On day 12 we fed our fish again and added more crickets to our ecosystem.We also checked on our species and we figured out that we have lost sight of our salamander in all the dirt.

On day 11 we fed our fish and we tested our soil.We also learned that our plants are not getting enough sunlight and are starting to die slowly and they were starting to melt.

On day 10 we found out that one of our salamanders died so me and taylor went and burried it but we added a frog to our ecosystem.

On day 9 we noticed that our plants are starting to grow and in a couple days we are going to test out our soil.

On day 8 we checked our ecosystem and we have learned that we have 1 spider left and we have added 2 salamanders to our ecosystem. We are going
